Esther & Kenichi

“We danced all night.”

Esther and Kenichi met through a mutual friend in New York City where they both worked. When they first saw each other, they were nervous, but they clicked and felt comfortable after they started talking. On many dates, they enjoyed walks along the Hudson River and having heart to heart conversation. Kenichi surprised Esther when he proposed to her one night on their walk along the Hudson.

Birchwood Manor was the perfect wedding venue for them. They loved the rich traditional interior and expansive gardens outside. They also loved the spacious dance floor where they could dance all night.

Esther and Kenichi chose a traditional cocktail hour and dinner with entrees of prime ribs of beef, au jus, stuffed chicken breast with spinach, smoked mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, bacon, onions, brandy fennel cream sauce, and grilled salmon with orange ginger glaze.

For dessert, their four-tiered wedding cake was designed with a cherry blossom theme. It was custom baked by Birchwood Manor’s bakery, with lemon and vanilla cake and strawberry custard filling.

Our best wishes to Esther and Kenichi for a lifetime of happiness!

Kind words from Esther & Kenichi ~

“Absolutely great venue. Professional, kind, and considerate staff all made our day the best. Beautiful outdoor setting and unique interior as well. Would definitely recommend to the next to be married couple we come across.”
