Kazue & Satoshi

"It Had to be You"

“It Had to be You”

Kazue and Satoshi fell in love in New York City while she was attending college. After graduation, they began a year and a half long-distance relationship between New York and her home in Tokyo, Japan. Satoshi proposed to Kazue on one of his visits to Japan.

Satoshi and Kazue were thrilled to incorporate their talents into their wedding. Satoshi is a construction manager and designed an elaborate custom arch structure for their ceremony and sweetheart table, decorated by their florist. Kazue is a vocalist and performd a beautiful rendition of “It Had to be You”, accompanied by Satoshi on grand piano.

“We desired an intimate wedding but yearned for a picturesque venue with lush grounds and elegant rooms. Birchwood Manor was everything we wanted.”
