“We danced all night!”
Katie & Chris had a gorgeous day for their summer wedding with many photos taken outdoors in the Arbor gardens. Indoors, their cocktail hour began with an assortment of hors d’oeuvres such as mini chicken quesadillas, puff pastries, and petite egg rolls. Hot silver chafing dishes included beef tips teriyaki, eggplant rollatini, and fried calamari. A special antipasto display was created and included grilled vegetables. Many more dishes were available to please everyone’s tastes.
Dinner followed in the Jefferson Ballroom after introductions and toasts. Katie & Chris chose a strawberry spinach salad followed by lemon sorbet intermezzo. Choice of entrée included herb-roasted prime ribs of beef, French breast chicken in a champagne sauce, and grilled salmon with orange-ginger glaze. An ice cream sundae bar, cake, and pastries were served for dessert.

“I can’t give enough positive feedback for Birchwood Manor! Michael and his team are AMAZING people to work with. Every request we made he was able to do for us. The food was wonderful and the cocktail hour was very robust! The dance floor (newly redone) is HUGE and centrally located in the ballroom which was exactly what we needed for our big families to get up and dance. Our families and friends had the most amazing time and it truly felt like we were welcomed guests by the most hospitable family at the Birchwood!”
